Taylor - Smart Board

I am really enjoying using my Smart Board in my classroom as I can work hand in hand with students across the curriculum. Very engaging and a lot of fun!!

Turek- Class Dojo

In my building, many teachers have started using Class Dojo as a classroom management system. It is helpful when the teacher has an iPad, but students each have an avatar and when they are on task, following directions, etc. the teacher can click on their name and they will get a "point." It can also be reversed and a point can be removed. Parents get a notification and can check their child's classroom behavior throughout the entire day. The students work towards individual goals and also goals as a whole class.

Turn It In.com

I use Turn It In.com to have students submit papers and get feedback from me.  They write papers, submit them online, and I have the ability to turn on a grammar check, send them back out for peer editing, or grade and comment on them myself.
