Module 4 Overview

About this module

Next Generation online assessments will be implemented in Michigan schools in the 2014-2015 school year.  This module is designed to give you an overview of what to expect from the new assessments.

Learning Objectives

After completing this module, the educator will:

• Know the basic terms of the Next Generation Assessments and its components
• Understand how the Next Generation Assessments will differ from the current MEAP tests in both content and delivery method
• Make connections between the Next Generation Assessments and College and Career Readiness Standards
• Consider how to modify classroom practices to help students be better prepared for success on online Next Generation Assessments

First things first!

To support your understanding of the Next Generation Assessments, you will be using the following Reflection Worksheet Template. In order to acquire and work with this worksheet template:

• Log into your Google account, make a copy of the template, and add it to your T3 Google Drive folder.
  • Please remember to rename the template
    • Remove the words, "Copy of"
    • Add your full name
