Find the x-intercepts of the function.
Step 1. Simplify the function completely.
Since 
and x = 2 are excluded values, they can not be an x-intercept.
Step 2: Using the Zero Product Property, set the factor(s) in the numerator equal to zero and solve.
x – 4 = 0
x = 4
x-intercept(s): (4, 0)
